We are offering one furnished bedroom in a 3 bedroom duplex house in the Squirrel Hill area. The rent for the room is $570 not including utilities. Electric, gas, water and internet are extra and increase each monthly payment in average to about $690. Two quiet male professionals working in the IT occupy the other two rooms.
We are looking for a responsible tenant that will help run the house, provide a good company, and keep the house clean. Overall neatness and cleanliness in the common areas and participation in the monthly cleaning rotation is required. The Room/House:
-3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 living room, 1 dining room, 1 kitchen.
-Water, electric, gas heat, window air conditioning, high speed internet.
-Washer, and a coin-operated dryer in the basement (clothes can also be hung on a clothes line in the basement).
-A fully equipped kitchen with all utensils that would be needed for cooking at home, a big refrigerator, microwave oven, gas oven, grill, dishwasher, etc.
-There is a porch outside in the front of the house. Parking in the garage in the house is available.
-Additional storage space in the basement offers lots of room.
-The room available comes furnished with a bed, computer desk, lamp, drawer, and chair.
Location:
-The house is located in Squirrel Hill, right down the street from shopping (grocery stores, barber shops, art stores) and dinning on Murray Ave (restaurants, buffets, fast food places).
-1.6 miles away from CMU (30 minutes on foot, 15 minutes on bus, 10 minutes on a bike).
-The bus line to various parts of Pittsburgh is 4 minutes walking distance away from the house, and is about a 10-15 minute bus ride to CMU and 15-20 minute ride to Pitt. CMU/Pitt students ride public buses for free with their student ids.
-The CMU escort service stop (yellow line) is right at the house, and is available free of charge to CMU and Pitt students.
-The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, pretty much the safest around CMU.
